Do I need to attend Punta Cana to attend Cincinnati?

No. The two celebrations are completely independent — join us for one or both.

Can I wear formal attire instead of traditional?

Yes. Traditional African attire is preferred, but formal attire is warmly welcome.

Is transportation provided in Cincinnati?

No. Please arrange a rental car or rideshare. CVG is about 30 minutes away.

Is there a rehearsal dinner for guests?

No — there are no additional events outside the celebration itself.

When should I arrive?

We recommend June 4th or 5th. The party begins at 7:00 PM on June 5, 2027.

Act II · Punta Cana
Do I need to stay at the resort for the wedding events?

Yes. All events take place at Finest Punta Cana; guests must stay through our group reservation.

How does room booking work?

RSVP here, select Punta Cana, and pay your $100 deposit. Once it’s received, your room is reserved and we’ll confirm with you directly.

Do I need a visa?

US and Canadian passports: none. UK: visa-free up to 30 days. DRC: visa required in advance. See the itinerary section for links.

Will airport transportation be provided?

Yes — guests booking 3+ nights through the group reservation receive complimentary round-trip transfers from PUJ.

Can children attend?

Yes — the main resort is family-friendly; children under 3 stay free (up to 2 per room). Excellence Club is adults only (18+).
